That was pretty much my thoughts on it when I read that one last night. Every so often I was like, wait... why he he calling him that, that's not his name... oh no, nevermind. LOL
And I agree, it's the whole thing for me too. A couple of actors might have some amazing on screen chemistry, but I'm only going to OTP it if the relationship makes sense for the characters as a whole. And once the actors walk off screen, my interest in them is done and I care less about them than the dude who drops off my Chinese food (although if actors wanted to also start bringing me food I might start to care about them more, lets be real).
I might read it again in the future, if I come across something that's been adamantly recced or by an author I adore, but I won't be going looking for it, it's just not really my thing.
