I'll admit to liking a good D/s dynamic myself, but I tend to prefer the ones that explicitly show the power a sub has in giving over their control rather than the ones that lean towards the dub-con aspect; just a personal preference that I'm not really sure of the reasons for, lol!
I do find all the different ways we all enjoy fanfic really interesting to read and think about!
