Because everyone else is doing it, and I'm taking a break from betaing, so why not? Shamelessly stolen from absolutely everyone, but mainly kitty_fic, because she did it first. (At least on my flist, anyway.)


What I'm reading:

• Hold Hands and Try to Look Sincere, by minervacat, an SG:A McShep fic, because sometimes I feel a need to go back to my slash shipping roots. Also because it's fucking hilarious.


• Cuckoo Song, by Frances Hardinge, and it's really quite creepy, so I keep having to put it down and go somewhere light and fluffy to settle my stomach. Also it's very good, so consider this a rec. A creepy genre type rec.


• Paradise Lost, by Milton, for like, the millionth time. I don't know why I bother rereading because I could probably quote it to you verbatim by now, but still, it's like my security blanket; I always have a copy sitting by the side of my bed.


• Merlin/Arthur, Dean/Castiel, Stiles/Derek, and Steve/Bucky fics, all lined up and waiting for me to switch to those tabs.


• Black Ice, by Becca Fitzpatrick. I'm only a few pages in so far, so I have no idea yet if I will like it, but Fitzpatrick is like my guilty pleasure of YA fiction - her stories can be a little bit trite, but I don't care I love them anyway. Is it weird that I'm reading so many things at the same time?

What I'm modding:

• hd_collab, and I feel quite accomplished over the things we managed to get done today.

What I'm thinking about:

• If I should send this new script to my boss or not (it's good, but it's also been done many times before, and to be honest I think the angels vs. demons trend is on its way out).


• If my hair will look absolutely terrible tomorrow if I go to sleep on it wet tonight.


• Whether or not I can be bothered to pluck my eyebrows right now.


• Whether or not I care all that much that it looks like David Cameron and the rest of the Tory idiots have won the election. I mean seriously, all the parties are utter cuntweasels, so is it really going to make much of a difference if someone else becomes Prime Minister?


• If one black wall in my dining room is going to look as good as I think it will, or if I'm just making a terrible mistake.


• If baked beans really do make you fart.

What I'm creating:

• Ha, nothing! If I'd answered this question 2 weeks ago, my answer would have been A MILLION THINGS HOW DID I GET HERE I HAVE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE SEND HELP. But, I've now offically finished writing for all my fests, and I am taking a well earned break!

What I'm watching:

• Stargate: SG-1 (rewatch)


• Spartacus (rewatch)


• Spooks (rewatch)


• Agents of SHIELD


• Criminal Minds


• The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (rewatch with the girls, because we like getting our geek on together. The baby likes the Uruk-hai the best, because she's weird.)


• Suits (catch up with the hubby.) (Is it also weird that I'm watching so many different things at the same time?)
