Day 4: Seven fears/phobias

1. Arachnophobia. I am terrified, even just seeing a picture of one can make me hyperventilate.


2. Claustrophobia. I want to be cremated when I die simply because the idea of burning alive is less terrifying than the thought of them making a mistake and me being trapped in a box six feet underground. Nope, nope nope nope.


3. Not being able to see the sun or feel air. Just the idea of scuba diving fills me with dread, and I would rather die than ever go into space.


4. Crowded places. I can't stand being touched, it really freaks me out.


5. Anything happening to my family, but especially my kids (all parents live with this fear, I think).


6. Dead bodies. I ws once accidentally trapped in a hospital room with a dead person when I was 7. I would be absolutely useless in a zombie apocalypse.


7. Tomatoes. With their jelly insides and the pips that stick to everything, ugh. My best friend's daughter once spent an afternoon sharing her cherry tomatoes with me. It was torture. My friend laughed herself sick.

I know it's not funny but I find your tomatoes phobia very cute. Though I shouldn't laugh. It would freak me out if the jelly would swim in water and brush my hands. Brains can be weird, right?

I just hate them okay, I don't know why but they freak me out so bad! I have gotten better over the years though, these days I can eat a sandwich that has had tomatoes in it, I just need to remove every single pip first!

I'd never hear of anyone being afraid of Tomatoes. *grins* Which I love and would never torture you with them. ^^

God they're horrible, and everyone loves to wind me up about them, biting into them and laughing when I start shivering. It's the grossest thing. Oh, also the word "moist", that makes me react the same way, haha!

On scuba diving, I'm also pretty sure I'd hate it. I tried to go snorkeling this weekend on my trip to Puerto Rico and I almost had a fucking panic attack wearing the mask. I went back on the boat and drank pina coladas.

Ooh no, I couldn't do that either, I would freak out pretty badly! I do love swimming in the sea though, there's something freeing in the huge expanse of it, I think.
