I totally forgot to put this on my own LJ once it was posted at
hp_kinkfest. Not that it really matters, because everyone on my flist interested in reading it probably already has, but still, it's nice to have everything in one place, so! I had great fun writing this; it's not often that I feel for a pairing outside my own OTP so quickly and so deeply. Charlie really spoke to me in this fic, so much so that I had to get out of bed in the middle of the night and write the entire thing in one sitting. I'll be honest, I've never really given much thought to the character of Charlie before, and if the kink showcased hadn't called to me as loud as it did, I doubt I would have done so now. However, thanks to this fic, I'm suddenly having so many Charlie Weasley feels and I have an intense desire to write a long, character driven story all about him and his dragons. Who knows, maybe I will? But anyway, this story. I was completely overwhelmed by the response it's gotten, so many people said such lovely things about it, and now I find I'm ridiculously proud of this little thing. *strokes it*
birdsofshore for forcing me to look at the prompt list, and then making it up to me by offering awesome advice to make this better. Title taken from the song of the same name by Fred Parris and the Satins.

Author's Notes: So, this is my first time writing for this fest, and my first time writing this pairing, I hope I do it justice. Grace, baby, I really hope this is the kind of thing you were looking for and that it hits the spot, despite the pov being one I know you struggle with. Huge thanks to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
