This was the perfect prompt for me, and I can't thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to write for it. I hope you enjoy it! Make my Demons Run

I fucking loved writing this fic, guys. I was a bit worried that I might not be able to join in with Smoochfest this year, because when the theme came up, I couldn't think of a single song I wanted to prompt. So I looked through the prompt list, thinking that if I couldn't think of anything, there likely wouldn't be anything that called to me either, and then I stumbled over this and I wanted to kick myself for being so stupid, because these are the most perfect fucking Drarry songs, ohmygod. So, I want to thank snowgall from the bottom of my heart, and urge everyone to listen to these two songs if they haven't already, because they're beautiful.

I have since written a DVD commentary for this fic, because I feel like this is my definitive Draco fic, and the process I went through while writing it is really special to me (also, seriously, my poetry professor would be so damn proud of me!), which I shall be posting soon. I hope y'all enjoyed it! <3

Ohmygod, yes! And I can't tell you how glad I am that you picked this prompt, because it seems like maybe you and I are the only Drarry fans that know that! :D

I left six prompts, but this one was the one I truly truly cared about and I thought would make for the best story, but only if the right person picked it. And the right person did, and the best story indeed was the result.

You know, sometimes I pick a prompt because I read it and a little scene comes into my head and I think, yeah, I can make a fic out of that. But when I saw these songs had been prompted, the entire story unfolded right in front of me, lyrics transforming into scenes and music turning into emotions and the guitar turning into sunrises, and it was as though I didn't have to do a thing except write down exactly what I saw in my head. It was such an amazing moment of creativity for me, and it's going to stick with me for a long while - even now, I smile stupidly whenever I remember the joy I felt while writing this - so seriously, thank you so much for inspiring me to feel all of that, and I'm so happy you liked it!!! <3
